Policy pages
How many Shopify stores publish a refund, shipping, privacy or terms page with no terms on it — only the theme’s menu and footer.

A page counts as empty when it answers but says almost nothing the store’s homepage does not: we subtract the homepage’s own words, and the theme’s menu and footer are exactly what the two share. Shopify creates all four URLs with the store; whether anything is written on them is the owner’s doing.

Niches with fewer than 25 re-read stores are left out — the share would be noise.
How these numbers are produced
Every figure on this page is computed from the registry itself — public product feeds, policy pages the stores publish, and our own daily price snapshots. Nothing is bought, modelled or estimated, and a number is only printed when its denominator can be printed beside it. The same data is downloadable as registry.csv and documented on the dataset page.
